Software Central provides software review, licensing, pre-purchasing review, and distribution support to the Western community, including student labs, classrooms, and faculty/staff use. We work closely with Contracts & Purchasing to get the best value for software possible and with our internal IT Departments to facilitate the deployment of software across campus.

Whether it's major suites like Microsoft Office or Adobe Creative Cloud or lesser-known titles such as SPSS or EndNote we can help you select, buy, and install the software.

Software Central is where you can find all information related to your software needs, requests, and licenses.

All Available Software: View a list of all software that has been reviewed and approved for use at WWU, as well as pertinent information on who to contact to request a license.

Request New Software: Don’t see your software on the list? Fill out the Software Request Form to get your software into the review queue. 

Request a License: If you are looking for a license for one of our campus-wide software options (e.g. Adobe, Visio), here is where you can request a license for yourself or your student’s needs.
