Instructions for Downloading from Software Center or Self Service

Important: Before downloading or installing any software, speak with your supervisor. You are responsible for licensing costs and compliance for any software you download or install.

How to Find and Install Software through Software Center or Self Service

Software Center - Windows

Open Software Center by following the steps below:

  • Go to the Start tile/button located in your taskbar and type Software Center in the Search box (1). Click on Software Center from the menu to open (2).

  • Once Software Center is open, click on the application you want, then click Install. The application should install immediately, although it may only show momentarily then hide in the background during installation.

Self Service - Mac

Open Self Service by following the steps below:

  • You can either search for the Self Service app or find it in your Applications folder

  • Click the Self Service icon to launch

  • Once Self Service is open, click on the application you want, then click Install. The application should install immediately.
